SRIMAD VALIMIKI RAMAYANAM -- is the veda rupam and describes the glories Lord Maha-Vishnu who came down as Lord SriRama. It is considered as the greatest epic poem and timeless classic of India. It consists of 24,000 verses, 7 cantos and 500 chapters.
