Naalaayira Divya Prabandham
--Naalaayira Divya Prabandham -- is a collection of 4000 poems composed by tamil saints called Alwars. This is glorification of Lord Vishnu in 108 divya desam (divine places of Lord Vishnu). This spreads prema bhathi towards Bhagawan.
Alwars are amsam(divine part) of Lord Vishnu who appeared a few centuries ago to glorify Lord Narayana and spread bhakthi in South India. There are 12 alwars of which Andal is the only woman. Their compositions are collectively called Naalaayira Divya Prabandham. Devotees who study and chant these compositions will elevate from themselves from material platform and go to spiritual platform and eventually attain liberation from birth and death life cycle (Mukthi). Listening to the moola parayanam which is given in sloka recital audio will remove all the sins accumulated in several janmas or lifes and also will give immense punyam or spiritual merit thus we will get mukthi in this janma itself. Listening is considered as direct seva to Bhagavan. In kaliyaga, hearing is the purest sense to receive spiritual knowledge and benefits. This is great work of art in tamil literature and is divine scripture accepted and praised by Vaishnavites in South India and all over the world.
