By Lord Sri Guruvayurappan grace and blessings and SadhGuru blessings, we have created the page and section to host details about building Nanadhavanam for growing flowering plants and vegetables offered to Devatas. Nandhavanam meaning Nandha(Where Lord Dwells) and Vanam means Forest. It is gardening area at the temple and homes that was built and maintained in olden days as part of the temple and homes. Auspicious plants like Tulasi, Jasmines and other wonderful plants from around the world are grown. It is a very beautiful experience to build Nandhavanam at home. We have created this section as door ways to build beautiful gardens in your own backyard to bring life and more bliss to your devotional experience. It is part of worship that we were practiced and maintained in olden days around the world for many yugas (various time period).
