Srimad Bhagavad Gita is divine knowledge of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was spoken by Lord Sri Krishna to Sri Arjuna in kurukshethra on the Kurukshethra war ground, just before commencing the Mahabharatha Yuddham (the great war between Pandavas and Kauravas). Srimad Bhagavad Gita was composed by Sri Veda Vyasa narrating the conversation between Dhrudhrurashtra and Sanjaya (his charioteer). Sanjaya was able to see with his divine vision what was happening in the war ground in kurukshetra and he was narrating to Dhrudhrurashtra the entire conversation between Lord Sri Krishna and Arjuna about of pure divine knowledge about self, various yogam and prakruthi and more, which has been composed by Sri Veda Vyasa as Srimad Bhagavad Gita!! We will be celebrating Sampoorna Srimad Bhagavad Gita Parayanam as given below: -->Please clean the house especially puja room the day before or on the day before. -->Please keep Lord Sri Guruvayurappan picture or Lord Sri Krishna or Lord Sri MahaVishnu picture or statue to worship. --> Please apply sandalwood paste and kumkum as tilak on the forehead, hands and feet of Lord Sri Guruvayuappan or Lord Sri Krishna or Lord Sri MahaVishnu. --> Please offer flower garland or mala of any variety. | Dear Devotees, ||Om Namo Narayanaya|| Sri Guruvayurappa Sharanam!! Sampoorna Sriman Narayaneeyam Parayanam -from August 1st,2022 (Monday) to August 30th, 2022- Wednesday -Sri Krishna Jayanthi Day!! Sriman Narayaneeyam is condensed form of Srimad Bhagavatham glorifying Lord Sri Guruvayurappan. We will be celebrating Sri Krishna Jayanthi, we will be reciting entire Sriman Narayaneeyam in one month from August 1st, 2022 (Monday) to August 30th, 2022 (Wednesday). We will be reciting a few dashakams every day and completing all 100 dashakams in 30 days. Sri Krishna Jayanthi is celebrated to mark Lord Sri MahaVishnu came down to earth as Lord Sri Krishna as an avatharam (incarnation). Today, August 18th,2022 (Thursday) marks 5249th birth anniversary of Lord Sri Krishna. He appeared on earth on July 19th, 3228 BCE at midnight. That is it is been 5249 years since Lord Sri Krishna appeared on earth. He came down to establish Dharma(Righteousness) on earth and to bless HIS beloved devotees. During Lord Sri Krishna avatharam many many rishis(sages), devas(higher living beings living in upper worlds) and devatas(Deities) were born on earth to be part of HIS leelas (pastimes).
