We will be celebrating various vratas, auspecious jayanthi and important days of Lord Sri MahaVishnu and various devatas. All the satsang events are published here so that devotees worldwide can follow the event details and conduct satsangs at their homes. Devotees can individually chant the slokas at their home and participate in this world wide maha satsang. Dear Devotees, ||Om Namo Narayanaya|| Sri Guruvayurappa Sharanam!! Srimad Bhagavad Gita is divine knowledge of Srimad Bhagavad Gita was spoken by Lord Sri Krishna to Sri Arjuna in kurukshethra on the Kurukshethra war ground, just before commencing the Mahabharatha Yuddham (the great war between Pandavas and Kauravas). Srimad Bhagavad Gita was composed by Sri Veda Vyasa narrating the conversation between Dhrudhrurashtra and Sanjaya (his charioteer). Sanjaya was able to see with his divine vision what was happening in the war ground in kurukshetra and he was narrating to Dhrudhrurashtra the entire conversation between Lord Sri Krishna and Arjuna about of pure divine knowledge about self, various yogam and prakruthi and more, which has been composed by Sri Veda Vyasa as Srimad Bhagavad Gita!! Reciting the entire Srimad Bhagavad Gita every day will bless the devotee liberation or moksha or parama padam to go to Sri Vaikuntam. On this day June 3rd, 2023 (Saturday), we will be celebrating by reciting all the adyaayams or entire Srimad Bhagavad Gita togather. Chanting the entire Srimad Bhagavad Gita is called Sampoorna (complete) Srimad Bhagavad Gita paraynam(recital). The time taken to do Sampoorna Srimad Bhagavad Gita Parayanam as given below will be 4 hours ( Srimad Bhagavad Gita parayanam 3 hours and Dhyana Sloka and Mahatmym and worship will take 1 hour). We will be celebrating Sampoorna Srimad Bhagavad Gita Parayanam as given below: -->Please clean the house especially puja room the day before or on the day before. -->Please keep Lord Sri Guruvayurappan picture or Lord Sri Krishna or Lord Sri MahaVishnu picture or statue to worship. --> Please apply sandalwood paste and kumkum as tilak on the forehead, hands and feet of Lord Sri Guruvayuappan or Lord Sri Krishna or Lord Sri MahaVishnu. --> Please offer flower garland or mala of any variety. Please avoid onion and garlic in the dishes. Please offer beetal leaves, beetal nuts, banana, coconut (broken into two halves). Please offer Pomegranate as it would bring in immense benefits. --offer Karpoora Arathi to Lord Sri Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Bharatha, Sadhrugna and Sri Hanuman . --off prostrate (do namaskaram) to Lord Sri Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Bharatha, Sadhrugna and Sri Hanuman --please chant “kaayenavacha manasedriyauva.. sakalam Narayanayethi samapayaami” at the end. --Please sprinkle the poorna kumbam water on all devotees and entire house. Notes: —when you start the parayanam, no one should be standing in front of Srimad Valmiki Ramayanam book. —At the end of each sargam, chant the following slokas -“ aapadhapama hartharam.. and Dharmasya sathya sanshyasya...” as given below: Om AApadaam-pahartaaram Daataarum sarva sampadaam Lokaabhiraamum Shriraamum Bhuyo Bhuyo Namaamyaham Dharmatma satya sandhasya Ramo daasarathir yadi. Paurushe cha apratidwandwam sarainam jahi Raavaneem. —Please recite or chant only slokas and not meaning. Please note that and very important to know that once we start a sargam, we should not stop or take a break in between when you chant the sargam. It has to be chanted fully. If you take a break which chanting a sargam, it has to be chanted from the beginning of the sargam again. —Please do the parayanam in the morning or afternoon or evening. —please recite in medium speed that you can chant slokas clearly and not missing words by rushing through. —after reciting each sargam and the chanting the following slokas -“ aapadhapama hartharam.. and Dharmasya sathya sanshyasya...” you can offer a flower or water or fruit or dry fruits like cashews or badam or dry raisins or kismiss at the end of each sargam. Offer doopam and oil deepam to Sri Rama. If not possible to offer any of these, you can continue to recite next sargam and keep going. Bhagavan is very kind to us. — before the parayanam starts and after the end of parayanam, boiled milk with sugar is offered as naivaidhyam. —after the parayanam, you can offer feast or full meals or Bhojan to Brahmins, reciters and devotees present for the parayanam. — you can take small breaks and no restrictions to follow. —regarding sthothrams to chant, please all of them or as much as you can. Dhyana sloka, Samapana sloka, Vishnu Sahasranamam, Sri Rama Ashtothrathra namavali and Sri Sita Ashtothrathra namavali need to be chanted. Sudarshana Jayanthi is celebrated to mark the day of appearance of divine wheel or chief weapon called Sudarshana chakra of Lord Sri MahaVishnu. Sudarshana Chakra is holy divine wheel or weapon. It is a round disk with 108 pointed serrated edges all around its circumference. It has enormous power to destroy anything if it sent against the person or living being or anything. This divine and chief weapon is carried by Lord Sri MahaVishnu in HIS right rear arm. It is said that worshipping Sudharshana Chakra is equivalent to worshipping all the ten Avatars of Vishnu. It is believed that Performing puja or worshiping Sudarshana Chakra helps in curing various illness and it removes sins and blesses the devotee moksha or parama padam to go to SriVaikuntam. It is observed on Shukla Paksha Ashada Dasami which falls on July 19th, 2021.
